Amazon is Raising Worker Minimum Wage to $15 per Hour – How Will That Affect Other Retailers?
Last week Amazon announced that the minimum wage across their workforce is being raised to $15 per hour. The new minimum wage, effective Nov. 1, will affect more than 250,000 Amazon employees as well as over 100,000 seasonal employees it plans to hire across the country this holiday season, the Seattle retail giant said.
