Amazon Warehouse Workers Vote on Unionization

In an election open to over 5,800 workers at Amazon’s warehouse in Bessemer, Alabama, the US National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) received over 3,200 mail ballots. The workers are voting on whether or not to join the RWDSU, making their warehouse the first Amazon facility in the United States to unionize. The results are being tallied and will be released soon, but if the workers do unionize, some say it will be a major defeat for the retailer. Read More

Small Retailers Lobby For Stronger Anti-Trust Law Enforcement

A group representing small retailers in the book, grocery, hardware, office supply, and other channels is attempting to persuade members of Congress to support stricter enforcement of existing antitrust laws.
